The data controller of the personal data of our employees, associates, and persons applying for employment is Probe Investments Limited, having its registered address at Level 4, 109, Sir William Reid Street, GRZ 1033 Gzira, Malta.

The personal data that we are provided with is used by us only for the following purposes: recruitment processes, the performance of our duties arising from the provisions of the law relating to employing workers and establishing cooperation, and, potentially, also to establish, pursue and defending claims made against us.

As part of our recruitment process, Probe Investments Limited may contact your previous employers to obtain references and verify the information provided in your application. This information helps us to assess your suitability for the role and ensure a fair and transparent hiring process.

The reference check will gather information about your previous work performance, skills, qualifications, and general suitability for the position you have applied for at Probe Investments Limited. Providing this information is voluntary, however, Probe Investments Limited may refuse to continue the recruitment process with you without performing the reference check. We may collect the following types of information during the reference check:

• Job title and dates of employment.
• Main duties and responsibilities.
• Work performance and conduct.
• Reasons for leaving the previous employment.
• Any other information relevant to your application and employment.

The consent to the processing of personal data may be withdrawn at any time. However, it does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal. In the case of recruitment, withdrawing the consent will make it impossible for us to take your application documents under advisement.
